What I have tried to do with this web site is bring as much information together about Jack and the cast members of The Jack Benny Show as possible.
The reason? To honor, in my opinion, the greatest radio show of the golden age of radio.

Jack's show takes us back to a time when comedy was pure comedy. No swearing, no rude behavior. Very few shows today can say that. Jack had a wealth of talent behind him, from the cast members right down to the writers. Jack's timing, pauses, and later in television, his antics, are truely timeless.

The one thing I wanted to stay away from with this site is becoming a "fan club". There is nothing wrong with "fan clubs", but I wanted this site to just pay tribute to a great man and his show.

The goal is to have as much information about the shows and the cast in one easy site. I hope I have achieved this!

I was first introduced to the comedy of Jack Benny back in 1982.
After 7th grade football practice I would come home, eat dinner,
and turn on Nickelodeon, who back then would show re-runs of
old television shows. The Jack Benny Show just happened to be
one of those shows, and I loved it!
Years went by and life proceeded from that moment in 1982. One day, while in my mid-twenty's, I was on the computer and Jack popped into my head. I googled his name and found sites that offered both his radio and television shows for sale. Why not! I bought the radio collection and the rest is history!
I currently have over 35,000 shows from the golden age of radio, but The Jack Benny Show has remained my all time favorite. Great cast, great music, and great writers.

Jack Benny was and still is the greatest comedian of all time.
