Phil Harris was a key player in the success of The Jack Benny Show from his first appearance on 10-04-1936 to his departure on 05-25-1952.
Phil's good looks and humor, along with being a pretty good bandleader, made a perfect fit with an already great cast.
Phil later went on to star in his own radio show with his wife, Alice Faye. The show ran from 07-10-1946 to 06-18-1954, broadcasting 297 episodes.
