Jack visited his Father

September 7th, 1933
Jack had a short visit en route from L.A. to New York City

March 23rd, 1937
Jack Benny parade and banquet at the Miami Ballroom. Jack visited the U.S. Veterans Bureau Hospital, Great Lakes Naval Base, Waukegan High School, and reception at Waukegan City Hall - planting a tree called the "Jack Benny Elm".

June 25th, 1939
Jack premiered "Man About Town" at the Genesee Theatre.

June of 1946
Visited old friends in Waukegan and the News Sun Office.

October of 1946
Jack's Father Mayer passed away. Mayer was buried at the Congregation Am Echod Cemetery on Grand Ave in Waukegan.

April 3 - 4, 1957
Jack attended the Leo M. Levi Memorial Hospital Benefit at Abbott Laboratories Auditorium.

June of 1959
Jack attended the Waukegan Centennial Celebration.

October 5th, 1961
Jack attended the dedication ceremony of the Jack Benny Junior High School. Jack received a High School diploma and the Lake County Health Department Award.

September 28th, 1964
Jack gave a concert in Waukegan for the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.

March 17th, 1967
Jack received an honorary membership with the Elk's Club in Waukegan. Jack and Bernard Decker were made honorary life members of the Music Center in Lake County.

April 20th, 1974
Jack gave a concert with the Wuakegan Symphony Orchestra, which was to be his last visit to his hometown.
