Eddie Carroll Tribute

I met Mr. Carroll on September 23, 2006 after his show in Hartford, Wisconsin. Before the show, I sent an e-mail to a Jack Benny fan club I am a member of, asking if anyone in the area was going to attend the show in Hartford, WI. I recieved an e-mail back within a week from Eddie Carroll himself stating he would be in Hartford and we should meet after the show! Well, I took him up on the opportunity. Mr. Carroll was an outstanding person, very easy to talk to, and truly dedicated to his work "Laughter in Bloom".

If I could talk to Mr. Carroll one last time, I would thank him for the work he has done to keep the memory of Jack Benny alive. I would thank him for the hours he trained to play the violin "badly" like Jack did, the long hours rehearsing for his show, and thank him for the thousands of peoples lives he touched. Thanks Eddie.

Mr. Carroll will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
